Student Welfare is of paramount importance at Park Orchards. We have effective and proactive procedures and programs in place to support our goal of providing a safe and inclusive environment, in which all students feel confident, valued and strive to achieve their personal best. The You Can Do It! and Bounce Back programs combined with our school values and Student Welfare procedures directs and supports this goal.
The core value is the development of the potential of all children (academically, intellectually, interpersonally and emotionally) through instilling in children the five foundations ~ confidence, persistence, organisation, getting along and resilience.
Central to the development of these five foundations is exposure and reinforcement of the following positive approaches to life: Accepting Myself, Taking Risks, Being Independent,
I Can Do It, Giving Effort, Working Tough, Setting Goals, Planning My Time, Being Tolerant of Others, Thinking First and Playing by the Rules.
